The device is designed for cutting on the carcass of the spindle-shaped fish length 230-400 mm: mackerel, horse mackerel, herring, pilchards, sprats.
The device can be used on ships and at shore facilities.
Maintained by 2-4 operators.
Key process steps:
1. Head removing
Fish is placed to the device using a conveyor feeding raw materials, and manually loaded into the trais of carrier “head to the stop bar, belly downwards”. Then fish is served on disk knife. For economical beheading of fish knife disk is tilted at 20 º to the horizontal. Tray equipped with a special plug to maintain the fish head during cutting. Cut off heads are received to the diversion tray, and removed from the machine. Headless carcasses are moved to the viscera removing mechanism.
2. Viscera removing
The entrails are removed by the water jet from attachments of rotating part of operating conveyor. The mechanism of viscera removal is equipped with clips to hold the fish while the water is supplied under pressure to the abdominal cavity. The processed water enters the diversion tray for waste. The carcass is unloaded from the device by special puller.
For the safety of staff there is a fencing, providing access to the mechanisms for setting and sanitation. Boards, covering the working bodies are electrical safety to prevent injury to personnel. The design provides the possibility of reducing productivity of the device up to 150 fish/min, reducing the loading zone.
As part of electrical includes: connection box, control button, switch for blocking the doors, electric vault.
There are 2 modes of control:
- “local" as the main mode
- “main switch" in the process lines
Advantages:
- Simple design
- Possibility of extending the feed conveyor by insert section
- Adaptable for use in automated production lines
