The device can be used both on shore facilities and on ships. The device is operated by one person at the stage of supplying fish to the place of carcass cut.
The basic principle of work:
Fish is manually laid into the tray "flatways" and visually exposed on the angular cuts, which ensures efficient figure (angular) removing of heads by disk knives. Disk knives have an angle of 120 º relative to each other. Knives are wetted with water supplied through the irrigation system.
Next, the operator presses the pedal drive, coupled with the cord tray, while endorsing the fish with his hand, moves the tray to the upright position until the head is not completely separated from the trunk and do not fall into the tray for waste. After removing the impact on the pedal, the operator, pressing on the tray with his hand, returns it to its original position. The cycle repeats. To avoid involuntary move up the tray may be stalled by turning the handle.
Advantages:
- Economical efficiency
- Wide range of processed fish species
- Adaptable for use in automated production lines
